Itinerary

Ala-Archa is the closest real mountain area to Bishkek: a gorge with a river, spruce forest and snow peaks above 4,000 m. The drive is about 40 km.

On site you choose. You can hike from the alpine camp (2,200 m) to the 35-metre Ak-Sai Waterfall at 2,700 m — this needs good fitness. Or you can simply walk along the valley at your own pace. You are back in town by the evening.
