Itinerary

We drive along the north shore of Issyk-Kul to Karakol and come back along the south shore. Issyk-Kul is the world's second-largest alpine lake by area, ringed by the Tien Shan ranges.

On the way: a picnic in Grigorievka Gorge, the red Seven Bulls rocks at Jeti-Oguz, Skazka Canyon and a meeting with a berkutchi — a hunter with a golden eagle. The first night is in a guesthouse in Karakol, the second in a yurt camp by the lake in Bokonbaevo. On the last day we stop in Chon-Kemin Valley and at Burana Tower, and reach Bishkek around 6 pm.
