One of Central Asia's most beautiful treks. A night by the Altyn-Arashan hot springs, the climb to turquoise Ala-Kul and a pass crossing with glacier panoramas.
Day 1
Karakol → Altyn-Arashan
- Transfer to the trailhead
- 5–6 hour trek, hot springs
Day 2
Altyn-Arashan → Ala-Kul
- Climb towards the pass
- Camp by the lake
Day 3
Ala-Kul pass
- 3,860 m pass and descent into Karakol gorge
Day 4
Return to Karakol
- Descent and transfer to town
